The coolest art exhibition of the year is happening. Be there.
How this came about to be from Davey:
"Back in March, I was watching a documentary on Soul music. It featured the likes of Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack etc. Soul, Northern Soul and Motown were my first musical loves, then House music came along and I fell in love with that too.
This show featured some of the world's best female singers and it got me thinking. Why not do an exhibition? A collection of portraits of the finest female singers from both House music and Soul. I was up until 3am scribbling down ideas.
After a few texts and calls the next day, 'The Queens Of House And Soul' art exhibition was born. Since then I have had 4 meetings in London, secured a venue in a cool part of the city and been blessed with the most amazing musical line - up."
